HAVEN POWER HELPS RAISE OVER £2000

Haven Power, Guardian Energy and Smart421 competed in a fun 'School Sports Day' for Children in Need.

Haven Power along with Guardian Energy and Smart421 – two other Ipswich-based companies working in the energy industry - organised an evening of fun and games in aid of Children in Need on Wednesday 12th November.

Three teams of twelve took part in a 'Schools Sports Day' at the David Lloyd Sports Centre in Ipswich, which was donated for the evening. The Teams competed in a series of traditional games, such as the three-legged race, egg and spoon race and sack race - all dressed in 'School Uniform' and watched over by a strict 'Head Master' who tried and keep everyone in order!

After a close and hard fought competition culminating in the tug of war, the winning team was Smart 421.

The evening was a great success and raised £2053.55 thanks to individual and company donations, a raffle and auction of Pudsey Bear.
