Haven Power is launching its brand new Industrial & Commercial Service for larger electricity users at the 2010 Show.

Designed by the Haven Power Management Team, which has extensive experience of the half hourly electricity market, the Haven Industrial & Commercial Service provides a choice of innovative Fixed and Flexible Electricity Contracts for customers with half hourly metering.

With its track record in business supply, its commitment to a flexible, personal approach and the enormous resources and buying power of its parent group, Drax Power, Haven is in a unique position to provide a smarter choice for larger users.

Choice of fixed or flexible contracts

Haven Power offers its larger electricity customers a choice of contract options to suit their specific buying preference and risk management strategy.

For a simple, straightforward approach to fixing electricity prices over an agreed term, providing budget certainty and removing exposure to price volatility. Haven offers Fixed Contracts of between 12 months to five years, tailored to suit client’s requirements and consumption profile. And, if customers prefer their contract to be more reflective of the market, Haven can allow users to fix prices for the immediate portion of the contract at the outset fixing some, or all, of the remaining term later at prevailing market prices.

Haven’s range of Flexible Contracts allows the customer to be more responsive to changing wholesale electricity prices and to better manage market price volatility. With a flexible contract, the client is firmly in control of how much of their forward exposure they wish to fix, when to fix it and what wholesale electricity price they wish to take, enabling them to implement an energy risk policy and bring their electricity budgeting process under control.

Thanks to its direct connection to Drax, Haven Power can also offer its large business customers a range of greener energy options for some or all of their electricity supply – from exemption to Climate Change Levy to a fully renewable generation source based on natural biomass.
