Sam Richardson from Haven Power's Sales Admin Team, is taking to the streets during 2010 to raise money for the St Elizabeth's Hospice in Ipswich.

Sam, who is just 21, will be running his first ever marathon in Edinburgh in May in aid of the charity. Although this isn’t the first time he has pushed himself to his physical edge – he has completed the National Three Peaks challenge, cycled from London to Paris and finished 2nd in Whole Hog Adventure Race over the past 18 months – this will be his very first marathon. His training regime includes running many miles every week and taking part in a number of sponsored half marathons in the local area – which will add to his fundraising effort.

Sam is also organising other sponsored events during the year, including a dress down day in Haven Power's Ipswich office.
