Businesses could save £6bn a year by being energy efficient

Carbon Connect published a report on Tuesday 1 March which concluded boosting energy efficiency in the private sector would help cut carbon emissions and save businesses more than £6bn a year. The report, Energy Efficiency: The Untapped Business Opportunity, said the Government should deliver energy policy in-line with the energy management hierarchy (reduce, renew, recover), and introduce a single framework for UK businesses to report their greenhouse gas emissions.
