Cameron and Clegg publish draft action plan for carbon
On Tuesday 8 March Prime Minister David Cameron and Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg published the Government's draft Carbon Plan, outlining its "vision of a changed Britain". The Plan focused on opportunities presented by a move to a low-carbon economy and on policies that will help "insulate Britain" from future energy price rises. It is a Government-wide agenda on climate change and sets out actions and deadlines for the next five years, split down to department level. A final version of the Plan is expected in the autumn.
