CBI warns that UK investment is at risk

A report released by the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), the British business lobbying organisation, on Tuesday 19 April warned that the UK Government is failing to attract investors, meaning that jobs and investment could move to other countries as a result. Making the UK Best to Invest said business investment is driving the economic recovery and the Government can best support it by developing the UK's skill base, supporting new business sectors and investing more money into infrastructure sectors such as energy, water, waste, transport and communications.
