Consumer Focus finds energy bills do not spur behaviour change
Consumer watchdog, Consumer Focus published a report focusing on energy consumer behaviour change on Tuesday 7 May. Missing the Mark detailed research into the impact of energy bills and annual statements on consumer behaviour, and the ways this information can elicit change. The research revealed an over-reliance on the use of these forms of communication and the limitations of using this kind of information to spur behaviour change as consumer do not trust energy suppliers and many are not engaged with their energy bills.
