Consumer group increases 2011 oil demand forecast

For the third month in a row the International Energy Agency, the OECD-sponsored group on energy issues, has raised its forecast of global oil demand for 2011. Its new assessment is 88.8mn barrels (bl) a day, up 260,000bl on last month's forecast. Key drivers are increased demand from China and north America.
