EU should adopt 30% emissions reduction target, says Hendry

Speaking at an interview in Doha, Qatar on Monday 13 December energy minister Charles Hendry said the EU should tighten climate change targets to reduce emissions by 30% from 1990 levels by 2020, up from the current 20% target, Bloomberg reported. Hendry said: "We believe it can be done in a very realistic way without imposing significantly greater costs on consumers".
