Electricity market reform debate rolls on
On Monday 23 July consumer watchdog Consumer Focus said it was concerned by the climate change select committee's suggestion that the cap on prices could be removed if carbon reduction targets could not be met. Consumer Focus said cost controls were "vital" to ensure the three challenges of green, secure, and affordable energy were met at least-cost to consumers.
