Smart Energy GB unveils microbusiness engagement strategy


 

The microbusiness engagement strategy of Smart Energy GB has, following a consultation in June, been confirmed in an updated paper published on Tuesday 25 August. A proportionate amount of Smart Energy GB’s budget is to be spent on both extending the domestic consumer message to microbusinesses to overcome barriers to the smart meter roll-out such as perception of relevance, as well as extending the channels Smart Energy GB use to reach microbusinesses. The group will especially target “efficient specialist media” to engage as much of the possible audience, estimated by Smart Energy GB at 2,326,265 microbusinesses.
