Using the information available from Smart Metering can lead to savings in energy. For example, by looking at the energy used in a particular half hour on successive days and referring to working days and production schedules, it is possible to spot waste where machinery or heating has been turned on unnecessarily.

By choosing one of the Haven Smart Plans this data this data is available on either a monthly basis (Option 2) or a daily basis (Option 3).

Armed with the information, controls can be adjusted and working procedures checked to make sure equipment is turned off when not required. Smart Metering is available as part of the Haven Smart Plan.
