The Low Carbon Contracts Company (LCCC) notified suppliers about the Interim Levy Rate (ILR) adjustment figures for Q3 (July to September) 2018 on 24th August, which were effective from 28th August.
To help simplify billing validation for our customers, we’ll apply the change from 1st September 2018. This removes the need for a split calculation using two different rates in the same month.
The rate charged to pass-through Half Hourly (HH) customers from 1st July 2018 to 31st August 2018 was 0.3899 pence per kWh. From 1st September to 30th September 2018, this will be reduced to 0.2532 pence per kWh.
From 1st September, there’s also a cost reduction in the Energy Market Reform (EMR) Levy Rate for Non Half Hourly (NHH) customers: the new rate is 0.5482 pence per kWh.
