As a major local employer, we are always keen to show our charitable side and undertake different activities throughout the year to support local causes. 2014 saw us partner with the Special Care Baby Unit at Ipswich Hospital, so each month we held ‘dress down’ days where staff members made a contribution to dress casually, and regularly held other fundraising events.
We also supported the launch of the new Sunrise Appeal at the hospital, dedicated to raise money for very sick babies and children, and were priviledged to attend the launch event in December. We are proud to have subsequently raised over £2,500 for this cause so far.
Throughout 2014 we have also raised money for CoppaFeel, St Elizabeth’s Hospice, Blue Cross, Ipswich Hospital ICU, Children in Need and EACH – these charities have received donations from the business as a whole as well as from individuals.
Every single penny counts and we are delighted to be able to contribute to such worthwhile causes.
