We are pleased to announce that we will be continuing with our sponsorship of the Suffolk FA and the Monday Night Football (MNF) League for the 2016/17 season.
This is the third consecutive season since 2014/15 that Haven has sponsored since becoming one of the league’s founding members.
Richard Robey, Sales and Marketing Director at Haven Power, said: “This is an important part of the work we do with the local community and we are delighted to be able to continue providing our support. We have increased our involvement with local initiatives such as this over the past few years and are proud to be associated with the Suffolk FA and the great work they do.”
“Our people are enthusiastic about sport and I wish the Haven Power team the best of luck in their 2016/17 campaign.”
The league was set up as an initiative to provide people who couldn’t play regularly in a Sunday league the opportunity play every two weeks on a Monday evening. The innovative format also allows for rolling substitutes which maximises the number of players who can take part during the hour-long games.
Haven Power will be fielding a team again this season and hoping to get some league success this time round having finished in a strong position last season.
The Haven Power team captain Marc Bradbrook commented; “Each year the Monday Night League brings players from across the company together in a setting which is away from the work place. Each year we have new people join who have the right team spirit and motivation and it really translates into a great work ethic on and off the pitch.”
