Here at Haven we’re excited to be supporting the New Energy Market conference, Energy Live News’ inaugural event in March.
Born out of the rapidly changing energy market, the half day conference promises to show businesses and consultants what the future holds for energy supply. Top speakers, including our very own Strategy and Development Director, Antony Badger, will feature at the conference and Energy and Climate Change Secretary, Ed Davey MP, is also hoped to attend and offer his insight.
To be held in Manchester, New Energy Market will reveal what new, alternative generators and suppliers will bring to tomorrow’s market. Presentations and discussions will explore how these changes will affect businesses, from the impact of politicians pushing independent suppliers to the rise of self-generation and changes around procurement.
Richard Robey, Sales and Marketing Director from Haven Power, said: “We’re delighted to be supporting ELN’s New Energy Market event for the first time and its theme is particularly significant, as an alternative supplier in a shifting market. We’re hoping it will facilitate some interesting discussion around the increasing number of suppliers in the market, offering businesses more choice and putting the customer first.
“The event is a great chance for end users and consultants to keep up to date with the transforming energy landscape, offering many networking and learning opportunities.”
The event is being held at One Angel Square in Manchester, headquarters of the Co-op group and one of the most sustainable large buildings in Europe. Attendees will also be invited for a tour of the building and may glean some renewables insight from the experience.
Running from 12pm to 5pm on 11 March, the New Energy Market conference is free to attend. If you want to come and see the future of energy, please register your interest on the ELN website. But there are only 120 places available and they are sure to get snapped up fast.
