Energy emergencies vary in severity. The larger the shortfall of electricity, the more severe the emergency and therefore, the higher the level at which it is declared. This is referred to in this application as the cut level.
If a cut level has not been specified, the application will show a generic timetable for that block. This will show, for each rota slot during a week, the cut level at which that slot would be affected. It is very important to remember that cut levels are cumulative, so if a cut level of 3 is announced, then that would also affect all slots that would be affected by a cut level of 1 and 2.
